Since joining the Artemis team as CEO of Ohio Tool Works in 2019, Rudi has become an invaluable member of the Artemis team, bringing not only an education in engineering, but also an upbringing marked with innovation. As the son of a South African engineer, Rudi’s intuition, agility, and service mindset developed from a young age are key tools in his role as an Artemis Operating Advisor. Rudi’s responsibilities include the strategic advisory of Artemis’ portfolio of Industrial Tech manufacturers, the cultivation of portfolio level senior level talent, and the evaluation of Artemis’ highly technical partnership opportunities.

Background
Prior to joining the Artemis family, Rudi worked for over a decade at Saint-Gobain in various business development, general management and operations roles. Thereafter he served as Executive Vice President at Active Minerals International before becoming President and CEO of Aventics, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pneumatic components and systems. Mr. Coetzee holds a National Higher Diploma in Physical Metallurgy from Vaal University of Technology in Vanderbijilpark, South Africa.
