James F. Ward

James Ward joined Artemis Capital Partners in January of 2011. As an Associate at Artemis, James is actively involved in the sourcing and analysis of new investment opportunities including due diligence, market research, financial analysis, and enterprise valuation. James also works closely with Artemis’s portfolio companies and management teams, providing analysis and advice on market, operational, and financial strategy. James joined Artemis from Odeon Capital Group, a full service broker/dealer headquartered in New York. As a member of Odeon’s Investment Banking Group, James provided strategic advisory, equity and debt financing, and valuation services to middle market companies from a variety of industries including financial services, industrial technologies, aerospace and defense, energy, and natural resources. While at Odeon, James was involved in both public and private market transactions and earned his Series 7, 63, and 79 FINRA licenses.  James holds a Bachelor’s degree with high honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Masters degree from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he concentrated in Business & Government Policy.
